Do you have history about Anjigami Lake?

Attention MFN Members, near and far.

There is an opportunity to provide useful information and history you may have of Anjigami Lake just passed Hawk Junction on highway 101.

During the days of May 29th to June 2nd; Michipicoten First Nation has hired Intergroup Sonsultants to complete a traditional knowledge and land use study.

The purpose of the study is to document the values and land use by MFN citizens and their understanding of potential effects on land use by Hydro One‘s expansion of the Wawa Transformer Station. In order to fully gather the information each member has, the interview will be recorded for best results.

We are offering to do interviews on-reserve in Michipicoten, in Wawa, and in Sault Ste. Marie.

Dates of interview schedule: May 29th – June 2nd.

If you are interested in sharing your personal knowledge and use of the land of the Anjigami Lake area, please contact Krista Stone. There is less than a week for interviews. Call/msg to book yours now!
