Zero Tolerance for Violence, Bullying, Discrimination, Harassment, Intimidation or Abuse

MICHIPICOTEN FIRST NATION HAS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR VIOLENCE, BULLYING, DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT, INTIMIDATION OR ABUSE, EITHER PHYSICALLY OR VERBALLY as part of its Core Policies.

As an organization and a community, this not only applies to our staff and Chief and Council; it also extends to members, contractors, and visitors, both at the workplace and outside of the workplace and by any and all communications.

Our members are asked to respect our policies and our staff, who work diligently and are dedicated to serving you. We are not always able to accommodate your expectations, however, that does not give anyone the right to abuse or intimidate.

Michipicoten First Nation has policies, guidelines, and processes in place in order to facilitate all programming and benefits which are administered through our office and we adhere to those policies, guidelines, and processes to the best of our ability, to be fair and equal to all members.

We hold ourselves to a high standard and appreciate all of our members who understand and support Chief and Council;  the policies of our First Nation; our staff and others who work so hard on your behalf.
